Hoya Hindu Rope

The Hoya Hindu Rope, also known as the Krinkle Kurl or Wax Plant, is a captivating succulent vine characterized by its unique twisted and contorted foliage resembling thick, twisted ropes. With its waxy leaves and occasional clusters of fragrant flowers, this plant adds an exotic and intriguing charm to any indoor space.

Care Guide:
1.*Watering: Allow the soil to dry out partially between waterings, then water thoroughly. Avoid overwatering, as Hoya Hindu Rope is susceptible to root rot. During the winter months, reduce watering frequency to prevent waterlogged soil.
2. Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 60°F to 80°F (15°C to 27°C). Protect it from cold drafts and temperature extremes, as it prefers stable conditions.
3. Fertilization: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) to support healthy growth and occasional flowering.
4. Pruning: Trim back any leggy or overgrown stems to encourage bushier growth and maintain its ornamental appearance.

Light Requirements:
Place the Hoya Hindu Rope in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sunlight, especially morning sunlight, but avoid prolonged exposure to intense afternoon sun, as it may cause leaf burn. Insufficient light can result in reduced growth and flowering.

Soil Type:                                                                                                                        Plant in a well-draining potting mix specifically formulated for succulents or cacti. A mixture of potting soil, perlite, and coarse sand provides good drainage and aeration for healthy root development. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent waterlogging, which can lead to root rot.
